Kevin Els Architects – Architectural Review
After meeting a couple of firms, our decision was based on customer service. From the moment I left my details with Kevin Els’ office, the customer service was outstanding. Kevin not only design great houses, he leaves you with a bit of architectural education behind, he knows a lot more about green builing and rainwater harvesting.
The team is very collaborative, accommodating and through the process we built a very cosy relationship. The team was able to capture the essence of my design style first time around, they were however very accommodating of design changes proposed. This was my first time in home design and I had very little concept of reading plans and understanding space in real terms from paper, so the 3D designs helped me a lot. Kevin Els took full advantage of the site & its slope creating marvelous unexpected favourite rooms. With Kevin as your architect, you feel special and you do not get lost, he has a personal touch. With the kind of customer service we received, it was a no brainer that we also asked them to do the construction of the house turning this into a full turnkey project.
